Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

@Jac: The truth is I have a bit of time on my hands over the hols and I was practicing my linework and some new shading techniques. When I saw your pic (and that it was your birthday) I though I would see if I could do something for you. I'm glad you liked it
@Galetea: Thanks - of course it's all down to Jac's skill with the pencils. Truth be told I'm hopeless at drawing so I generally use rough sketches of mine and painstakingly go over them using Krita to come up with something that looks OK. Having a good drawing to start with made it so much easier.

Of course, I know next to nothing about you Mr. G. except you are painstakingly slow at producing your delightful pieces .. I assumed a perfectionist.
Now I'm not saying you aren't of course, just that this was really quickly done; does a decent drawing really make such a difference with Krita?

@Melakka: Thanks for your comment Not sure I would call myself a perfectionist (just a bit too fussy is probably closer to the truth). I'm slow for a number of reasons - mainly due to being time poor when it comes to this sort of thing. Also, all my stuff is done using a mouse and Krita and all the other good tools out there are primarily designed to be used with a sketch pad or similar device. I have worked out a few ways to get Krita to work for me so I will send some tips on a PM for you.
And I should say, yes, having a decent drawing (especially with no feet or hands showing as I struggle with these) did make a big difference to the turn-around time! In this case I even surprised myself
