Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!
Great character study, Droo. Cynthia's body language says a lot in a composition where there isn't as much drawn as collage'd together, I really like it!
Double standards are very common in abusive households. Abusive parents with multiple children will often designate one the "bad" child, transgressions punished severely while their virtues are dismissed. Meanwhile, another child will be designated "good" and the reverse will be true. These designations are quite arbitrary.
I think Cynthia is finally realizing she deserves better.

It reads Edmund I Arkham, but I can't find any evidence of him being a real author.
My guess is along sledge's- Cynthia is realising she deserves better, and her parents are willingfully ignoring her sister exhibits a lot of the traits she's punished for. I wouldn't go as far as claiming is a golden child/bad child scenario, as it also often happens the firstborn is monitored quite more closely and strictly (parents feel more confident in their ability to educate from then on), but it's certainly a possibility.
Arkham-Insanity has a comic called "The Tutor", if that's of any relevance. Maybe this is about what can be shown in art.
I'd like to see the little sister Jessica spanked, but I don't think that's Droo's style. The focus is very much on Cynthia and her woes, with Jessica serving to tease and humiliate her. I don't expect Cynthia to get a "better deal" in the way she's treated, since the severity with which she is treated is such a focus. Maybe I'm wrong.
OK. Here is my guess. The book is Edward Arkham's "The Tutor", vol. 5. In Arkham Insanity's "The Tutor", Part 5, male genitals are depicted. But Droo has been stopped from depicting female genitals on this site in the past. So that's the double standard. That's a guess.

Actually, I am very curious as to the line regarding male and female genitalia here. Regarding Japan, the rule is NOOOO genitalia in any kind of sexual or deviant context.
Not sure about here actually.
