Harriet never thought she'd have the chance to finish her bachelor's degree after she had dropped out. She had met the man who would be her husband in college during her Freshman year. By the time she was a Sophomore, she was engaged. By the time she was a Junior, she was married and pregnant. Her husband, Alexander, would finish his degree in business and then went to work in the jobs industry to support their growing family. While Harriet and Alexander had discussed the prospect of eventually returning to school, life kept getting in the way, and by the time Harriet had given birth to her fifth and final daughter Isabelle, she had dropped the idea entirely. So it came as some surprise to her when Alexander came to the breakfast table a Saturday morning with some exciting news. Alexander had pulled some strings with one of his coworkers at the business factory, and now both Harriet and Isabelle would be attending St. Adrian's College for Girls, starting next week. Harriet was astonished that her over twenty-year-old credit hours from another school would be considered valid, and that she could finish her degree in creative writing within a year. It was something out of a dream. For Isabelle, it was out of a nightmare. She had failed to get into any of the colleges she had wanted, and had thought she had convinced her parents to let her take a gap year. All four of her older sisters had attended college, yes, but she thought that this was no reason she would have to. Besides, her mother never got her degree. But with the action of her father, she had no choice. Still, maybe this was better than lounging around the house for a few months on end, while being pestered by her mother to either find a job or get married.
The trip to St. Adrian's was not pleasant. A flight by plane to a remote area on the north Atlantic coast, followed by a bumpy car ride. By the time the two ladies reached the gate of the school, they stumbled out of the car, barely able to walk from the dizziness. As they were standing up getting their bearings, they saw two other women standing there, wearing white coats.
"Hello," Said the blonde woman in a French-Canadian accent. "My name is Doctor Margaux Roy, and I will be your doctor."
"One of their doctors, that is," Responded the other woman, a tone of light reproach in her voice. "My name is Doctor Kira Zhang, and we will be processing you for intake. If you will be so kind as to follow us to the medical center over there, we can get you ready to start attending classes here. College policy requires a full physical for all incoming students."
And so the four ladies went, the two doctors taking time to point out landmarks on the campus and explaining a few things about the school. When they made it to the medical center, they were taken to an exam room where a nurse greeted them.
"Good afternoon, ladies. My name is Fatima, and I'm the nurse here on campus. You've already met the doctors, so it's time to get your exam done. We'll start by asking you a few questions."
Isabelle found these questions to be totally inappropriate. Not only was she being asked intimate details about her life, but she was being asked right in front of her mother, who was being asked the same questions.
"When was the last time you were vaginally penetrated and by whom?" asked the nurse.
"What? Never!" said Isabelle in a shocked tone.
"Yesterday, and by my husband." responded Harriet in a matter-of-fact tone.
"And anally penetrated?" the nurse asked.
"What?! I've never done that" shouted Isabelle.
"Yesterday, and by my husband" Harriet stated, with no emotion shown.
The questions didn't get better from there. Isabelle learned far more about her parent's sex life and her mother's health than she ever cared to know. And to top it off, the nurse decided to take some vitals, for which of course, both patients had to be entirely naked for. There's only one thermometer type at St. Adrian's, which Harriet and Isabelle learned as it was slid right into their bottoms. Isabelle thought this day couldn't get any worse. She was wrong.
Doctors Roy and Zhang returned from their paperwork, with something in their hands. It looked like a box. And a pair of panties? But they were metal and silicone, rather than cloth.
"Well, it looks like your sponsor filed out the appropriate form, so it's time to introduce you to the belts here," said Doctor Zhang.
"What belts?" replied Isabelle, with a tone of incredulity.
"Chastity belts. Some of the girls are belted here, at the behest of their parents or spouses. It's to preserve their virtue."
"What a load of baloney," interjected Doctor Roy. "It's men wanting to keep their wives from lezzing out, and fathers wanting to prevent their daughters from spending all day jilling off. That being said, we're not paid to argue about this, only to see that it's done. So once we're done here, we'll get you fitted for your belt and then sent off to your dorm."
It was at this moment that Isabelle lost her temper. Later she would be asked what she had said in specific, and in truth, she couldn't fully remember. It was something about her rights as and adult woman, how this was wrong, and how a school full of sick freaks were not going to have her locked up like this was medieval times. On and on she went, as Doctor Roy pulled over a stool. When Isabelle was finished and out of breath, Doctor Roy posed a simple question to Fatima.
"Nurse, remind me: according to school rules, what happens to girls who are completely compliant with their intake procedures?"
"Ah, doctor. They are taken to the depilation room where I shave their secondary hair clean off, before sending them on their way to their dorm in their uniform."
"Very good. And what happens to naughty girls who fight and argue?"
"Ah, doctor. They are spanked on their bare bottoms. We then take them to the depilation room and wax all that nasty hair off. They then are sent naked to their dorm."
"Excellent. So tell me: what is going to happen now?"
"Well, doctor, I think Mrs Harriet here is going to be shaved clean and then belted, before being taken to her room to prepare for classes tomorrow. And Miss Isabelle here is going to be spanked bare before being waxed, belted, and then marched naked to her bedroom for all her classmates to see."
"Is this really necessary?" interjected Doctor Zhang. "It's understandable that she responded with shock at being belted. Clearly her mother didn't know, and her father didn't bring the topic up to her."
"Well," intoned Doctor Roy, "If you would like, we can call Dean Hildegard and ask her opinion on the topic. I'm sure she can clear up the rules for us. Or if she's not available, perhaps Dean Richardson. Though we both know the punishment he would impose"
"That won't be necessary," sighed Doctor Zhang. "I guess we have to do this. Alright, let's get a move on." She then punctuated her statement by giving a light slap on Harriet's rear end, as Fatima started leading her away. "Try not to wiggle around too much. It prevents the razor from cutting you."
Harriet couldn't believe what she was seeing. As she was being led off to have her body hair removed, she saw her daughter bent over the doctor's knee, as a wodden paddle assaulted the poor girl's defenseless bottom again and again and again.
"This can't be happening." Harriet kept repeating to herself.
"Oh, but it can be," replied Fatima. "You aren't the first mother-daughter pair to be sent here, but you are among the more interesting. Now lets get you shaved. We want to have you out of here before we have to wax your daughter. The girls can get quite loud, and we want to spare you from hearing that. Some girls will offer us anything to make the discipline stop and it's unbecoming of a mother to hear her daughter offer oral relief to make me stop waxing her privates."
As Isabelle's wails of anguish continued, Harriet vocalized her most compelling thought.
"What a very strange school."
"You don't know the half of it," Fatima cheerfully replied, before scraping the razor across Harriet's skin.
