tucking-in-little-alice
"Stay, plwease Daddy," Her voice was small, a whisper away from falling asleep. "Monstwers under da bed... pick on Alice..."
She put the thumb back in her mouth as she finally closed her eyes, letting sleep over come her now that she was safe in her Daddy's arms.
"My little girl...." He smiled. "...nothing's gonna be mean to you while I'm here." Gods she was cute. With her thumb in her mouth like that? Oh, Mikeal would have turned into a donkey to see this.
He carefully rocked the girl until she had gone limp, and then some more until sleep took her even deeper.
"My pretty little girl."
The man gave a weary, old-man sigh, and carefully tucked Alice into bed. This was one of the few rights he found himself denied, as a Sire, most times. The sense of pride his girls had most often kept was offended by it, save in serious circumstances... ...or unusual ones, such as this. It was certainly only one of only a handful of times he'd ever gotten the chance to.
He liked it.
"....no, love. I shan't leave thine side...." He said, softly. In one hand a glass of port materialized. In the other, a large, oldish sort of pad, and a small piece of charcoal. Aleksandr sipped the wine, and smiled.
He would not take a picture.
...he'd make one himself.
The vampire spent the rest of the night sketching his sleepy little girl, erasing the page endlessly until he'd captured her adorable little frame, thumb firmly planted in her mouth. He hummed to himself as he did so...
...and with a little time left before sunrise, he turned to another page in his sketch pad, and began to write out the notes he'd found himself humming as he sketched.
...perhaps, with a little time tomorrow, he'd see what Alice's Song sounded like on the piano.

Again I know, you can't really see the spanking she got but it is Nightly Lessons, and both Peeker and I are pretty proud of it.
ok, so the posters are actually other pics I've done, I like to use them often. The Plushies are Tat and Kuro. Tat is a character from the PS2 game Klonoa 2, whom one of my friends then felt needed to be my nickname. Go figure. Kuro is an orginal character from a story I'm working on. It's his human form. He's the bases for Klo and the Hellhounds. He's a real cutie, but is saddy very shy, blind, and speaks only Japanese.
Either way, I'm still pretty damn proud of this picture.
