My preferred post spanking is Cuddles and forgiveness. there only two things that I would consider delaying it for.

- If there is more than one Spankee, then maybe a little corner time until they are all spanked, then group cuddles 8)

- Finishing a undone chore/task that earned the spanking.

But other than that the philosophy is the Spanking is over you have been punished, forgiveness is meant to be ASAP 8)

Cuddles are always good. Generally, there's MORE than cuddles afterwards... but that's just me.

Of course, if it's a Disciplinary spanking, then it's possibly cornertime, or sitting, bare-bottomed, on a hard, smooth seat.

I like the image of cornertime - with hands on head, facing the wall, trousers and underpants right down to the ankles or off completely with buttocks showing the results of the spanking on full display for a suitable period of time - but in reality it normally seems over doing it unecessarily and even in fiction is often makes me feel uncomfortable especially if the preceding chastisement has been a particularly harsh and malicious thrashing.

I too, think corner time is kinda harsh, in fiction I use it only if the spanker is a bad person, and in that case, he'll be regreting punishing that kid.

I think the best after spanking thing that can happen is hugs and forgiveness.
