I said a story, a well-written spanking scene makes the game attractive. However, other points are also important. I like it when the player's choices affect the game. Most games unfortunately only give the option that the player's actions either lead to a spanking scene or not. And since we all know why we are here, this is a choice without a choice.

I really appreciate all the replies and input on this! It's very interesting to see what you all think and I'm seeing a lot of people share the same feelings I have on it!

I have played it, it's one of my favorite games on here as well! I think it does an incredible job immersing you into the story and world, and being able to insert yourself so easily onto a character makes it that much easier!

Art can definitely enhance a game, but I don't think it's necessary. To some extent, I think it's also true for writing. What sets a game apart from, say, a comic? It's got to be interactivity and choice.

I really like being able to explore and find stuff in hidden places; hidden scenes from interacting with stuff or making weird choices, revisiting old areas in RPGMaker stuff, that kind of thing.
And of course it helps a lot if the game is tested properly so it doesn't crash or softlock all the time.

In my opinion the most important aspect is appealing spanking scenes. This is often achieved through variety to avoid "sameyness" (though typically only slight variation are actually needed to achieve this effect), appeals to different niche preferences for those variants while still having the main focus be on the spankings themselves so as not to loose sight of the main appeal, good art and/or dialogue/descriptions to enhance the quality of each scene, and finally enough context to immerse yourself, but not so much that you once again risk loosing focus on the main appeal. At the end of the day when you advertise a spanking game, people will come for the spanking content. The way I see it, it is The Spanking Content>Spanking Adjacent Punishment Content>Story/Art>Gameplay. You can make the greatest video game ever, but if they are only one or two spanking scenes and/or those scenes only contain a bad sound effect and text saying, "you were spanked," then you will not a have a made a good "spanking" game.

to me, i dont care if there is a bad artwork or no artwork but if it has sound and its the same for every single spanking no matter what implement you use the immersion breaks. i would rather it had no sound at all in that case.
But the real deal breaker for me in the end is the depiction of the spankinc scene, i have played a lot of games that just say "you spank his/her ass", that is soooo boring usually i stop playing after that but if it is well written with description of how it is going what the char is feeling or how they react to the spanking or giving the spanking then that is the game i go for

I really didn't expect player impact/choice to be the most important thing to most people but I truly am glad to see it, it's similar to my own likes and wants in a spanking game!
What I'm hearing the most of is if there is a lack of artwork to accompany the spanking scenes (and even if they do have artwork) dialogue and colorful descriptions are important so things don't get stale!

I did have ideas for content like that, I'll be sure to consider it when I get further in the creation of the game.

I voted for more scenes, and especially OTK scenes, but I will also agree that good artwork is key.

I see! It seems opinions are pretty mixed but they definitely lean heavily into player choice and artwork, based purely off the vote. I agree with the want for more OTK scenes, those, to me, are the best kinds of spankings!
