my-6-step-drawing-procedure

Hey all,
Well this is kind of a weird upload, but because of discussions as of late I've been interested in kind of showing everyone my process. ^^; Dunno if anyone cares, but some of you seem to show interest, anyway.

Well this is my pencil to ink to computer 6-step drawing procedure. Hopefully some of you find it interesting!

I apologize for the misaligned text (it drives me nuts anyway) but I had to fit it in between the figures. xD Speaking of, I don't know who this girl is but I wanted to do a girl holding her bottom and this strangely-dressed femme emerged from my fingertips.

Comments would be great, as always.

I definitely care! I don't actually have a technique per se... I am in point of fact... a hack (right now anyway - I aspire to be more). I have made a few forum posts inquiring as to different artists techniques, and have received some help from various forum members (yourself and februaryleaf spring immediately to mind). I am getting much better at post processing, but my actual sketch construction needs lots of work. Thank you very much!
The hottest girl you've drawn so far, for me, Cc! Darn, she's so dang cute, even if she is only for... X3 "educational purposes". Her expression is very sweet (also, her hair-style is gorgeous), her pose is inspired, and I have always admired your ability to draw such perfectly adorable and petite feet!

I should draw in this fashion, it's what I've been told time and time again, and it produces the most convincing and wonderful results, as you have demonstrated here, but... I simply can't do it. DX Too much wooork...!

Thank you very much for sharing, sweetie-pie! =D

wow

I can't even do step 1.

really.

I find it amazing that you can 'see' where you want to go, from step 1, all the way to the end, that is so cool!

I also thought it was interesting how you don't do clothes right away, but draw them in after.

And, last, I don't blame you, no one can resist a girl with a red bottom!

Thanks for the chance to look over your shoulder in this little tutorial Cc...

It 's really interesting to see how people "go about the job" .... As you can guess

I don't scan but work directly with the

photoshop related appl to do backgroundeffects and final cropping and resizing... I wonder what the result would be like if I really made a scan of

Promis to be merciful if I decide to upload something like that hahaha

Thanks for posting this, it's nice to see how you work. I do it the same way, except in the first phase I draw some sort of cylinder/oval shapes for the ribcage and waist, and add the limbs to that. I also prefer doing everything on computer.

Interesting demonstration.

If I may offer my opinion, (and I've not drawn anything spanking-related for this site) I prefer 3 & 4 to the 'finished product' because they offer more in the way of subtlety. Especially the face, which is more delicate. I like that sketchy look.

Just to reiterate, well done and great work.

Thanks for the comments, all

Glad some of you seem to get good us eout of it, and also glad to hear others like the style and design of the character, and the pencil itself.

I will admit that I too actually prefer the pencil drawings in most cases, but because I use photoshop it makes it much easier and faster for me to have clean, dark ink likes to pretty much "fill" in (I use the magic wand tool to select areas, then "color in" with the brush. I will perhaps to try doing some cleaned up pencil + color drawings in the future.

I've owned several "how to draw" books, but have never really given them much use. I appreciate this drawing very much because I am trying to get back into photoshop, and this has given me the drive. I just got a new tablet for my PC, so hopefully I'll be able to post my deviation on this soon.
Now, this is very interesting. I think it's nice to see the working process of you as an artist, CC. I also think as another artist it's especially interesting for me to see how other people work and compare my own techniques to them.

Thanks a lot for showing this to us.
